Ft. Worth’s Nascar race for today has been rained out. Yes the rain has made a mess of  Texas race weekend, but you can salvage it with a trip to Chef Point Cafe.

Chef Point is only a short drive from the speedway. You can eat dinner in a nice dry gas station instead of out in the rain. Call ahead to get on the wait list.

I’m sure most of you planned to cook out the usual race weekend food such as burgers, hot dogs and BBQ. Why not eat mouth watering southern fried chicken? Or try another dish off the comfort menu.  I for one would like some comfort after sitting out in the rain and getting soaking wet.

Salvage what is left of today. Have dinner at Chef Point. At least your day won’t be a total waste.
